Helle Sandman from Knowit Experience talks about their application process and the creative industry in Denmark. In our interview with Helle Sandman, we have asked her if she can give us some in site into their recruitment process, “first we have the first interview with our candidates which is very informal to see if it could be a match and if we are interested we give them second interview where we give them tasks to do such as review of an app or website”. Also the interesting part of their application process is not to look at their candidates grades but more on their personal work they have done. Helle told us that “ since last year the company hired more than 15 people and constantly look for new candidates for different positions”. However, according to Helle it was challenging for the company since everything opened after the pandemic as many people resigned from their jobs and they had to look for new people. When asked if she can tells us if their company’s strategy of recruitment process such as not looking into candidates grades but rather on their portfolio she simply replied that it makes more sense to look into their portfolio as it is more effective.
