Ever since the first vaccine got approved by the EU, there has been ongoing work within the danish health authorities to prioritize who the vaccines should go to first.
For the Union 3F, who most of the Aarhus bus drivers are organized under, there has never been an option to participate in the planning of who the first vaccines should go to.
“We have not been a part of negotiations with the health authorities” says Kim Poder, Negotiating Secretary for the Transport group in 3F.
And according to the Danish Health Authority, they will not be considered front line personnel as they are “easy to replace, and training in the function is limited.”
