The beginning of the school year usually means a number of events for the new university students, but this year will be different.
Freshmen courses have to adapt to restrictions from the government. Big groups are divided in smaller groups, activities organised outdoors and partying in the evening is not allowed.
“We’re trying to figure out, which events are still possible to do, without breaking the twenty-people maximum limit,” explains Nikola Jovic, the president of the introduction course at the Danish School of Media and Journalism.
Still, students will likely be meeting outside of scheduled events.
“I think that the new students will still want to meet and grab a beer in the park. Then they’ll have to follow the guidelines by themselves.”
