The Aarhus music students played their first concert last Saturday in the store sal in Dokk1. Around 50 people came and listened to an arrangement of songs connected to the topic of fjords and mountains.

In between the pieces, the musicians explained how the works of the nordic composers Grieg and Sibelius are related to the overall theme of the concert and how Vivaldi resembles natural phenomena in the 1st Movement of the Winter from his four seasons. They also played traditional Norwegian and Swedish folklore music.

The upcoming themes will be roses and thorns (17.10.20) war and grief (31.10.20) and music, stories and music stories (28.11.20)..
