Passenger numbers at Aarhus Airport have been increasing recently, with 2019 being a record year. 500,000 people flew out from Aarhus last year – the highest total since 2012.
In the wake of a successful twelve months, the airport has celebrated by lauching a domestic route to Bornholm, along with flights to Alicante, Varne, Rhodes, Chania, and Zadar. However, four routes have been discontinued, forcing passengers to stop over in Copenhagen in order to reach Munich, Rome, Manchester and Faro.
The ambitious target of the airport is to triple passenger numbers to 1,500,000 by 2024.
