As Julie RokkJær Birch, Curator at the Women’s Museum stated, “During the Aarhus festival we are opening up our house. We are doing so many events.”
Adding that the museum is “a social hub for events and gender debate all of the time and Aarhus festival is no exception.”
The Women’s Museum is going to be able to use their exhibitions at the Aarhus Festival to spread their message of all genders being ‘different and equal’ to many people. The museum will also be able to achieve its goal of creating a dialogue and spreading knowledge by being able to attract visitors that, without the exhibitions at the festival, would not have otherwise known about gender issues or the Women’s Museum itself.
